Introduction

Arpine Sarkessian:

Arpine started practicing yoga in 2010, thanks to her teacher’s authentic approach and guidance of her Guru she also was introduced to Ayurveda and yoga philosophy, soon she started noticing the subtle benefits of practicing the new lifestyle which brought clarity and comfort both to her body and mind.

Later in 2016, during her first pregnancy, she started prenatal yoga at Yoga Shakti, which opened a new horizon for her as she completed the 200-Hour Teacher Training as well as the mentorship program along with her regular practice. Now as a certified teacher, she could share her experiences with others and keep learning from them.

Arpine believes Yoga is the key to observe, calm down, relax, turn inward and eventually learn to live the “Now”, the only gift one owns!

Her teaching style offers breath-driven flows, the sequences are designed to  focus on specific areas of the body for each class. Also by creating a non-judgmental  environment , she encourages her students to listen to their own body and accept themselves as they are.

When Arpine is not on the mat, you can find her in nature either biking, hiking, or camping. Reading is the inevitable part of her every day.

Level 1-2:

These classes build greater strength, flexibility, and stamina, while still providing thorough instruction and options. Students will be exposed to subtler concepts within the practice, stronger and more challenging flow sequences, and begin learning more advanced poses including basic arm balances, backbends and inversions.
